Hello from England ( HONDA 125 XL 77) ( GB )

I have a 1977 XL 125 that i am restoring and modifying.

This is as i bought it

But the swingarm was twisted and the rear hub damaged.

So it now has an american model swingarm and TL125 wheels, seat by Photoshop!

Plus nos exhaust and xl250k3 shocks.

I am building the engine at the moment, cb125 six speed with xl185 crank, atc200x barrel and piston, 24mm carb, it should go well, but still look like a 125

J'ai un 1977 XL 125 que je reconstitue(rétablis) et la modification.

Ceci est comme je l'ai acheté

Mais le bras oscillent ou cadre a été tordu et le centre arrière endommagé.

Donc il a maintenant un modèle américain bras oscillent ou cadre et des roues TL125, la place(le siège) par le Photomagasin!
(Plus des numéros s'épuisent et des chocs de xl250k3.) traduction , mais je pense qu'il parle d"un échappement de 250 XL

Je construis le moteur à l'heure actuelle, cb125 six vitesse avec l'original(la manivelle) de xl185, atc200x le baril et le piston, 24mm carb, il devrait aller, mais ressembler toujours aux 125

Yes you really founded the best forum for a 125 XL. Here there are many crazy guys that prefer to rebuilt that kind of bike instead of getting one already in good condition.
I don't know if you can find all the parts you need in England but here ,besides the muffler,you can get almost everything.
You will get all the help you need to rebuilt your bike and some of our specialits will tell you what is original and what parts are not. We still don't know if you want to make it like a new one or if you want it to look like a bobber ,a cafe racer or else.

Zaion ,who is the big boss ,would like to know how you did find this forum ? Was it by surching on your computeur,or some friends told you about it ?

I found the site via a Google search, looking for pictures of XL125's I think.

Thankfully I have most of the parts for the bike, I started with the engine!

It will be a partial restoration but in the style of a 1970's enduro, so smaller lights, no revcounter and full size trials tyres on the TL wheels.

Main reason is my friends had there back in the day......I had a TL125.

It's been a long time but finally some progress!

A Moto-Roma 125 engine with electric start, all lines up well, just need to sort the wiring.

Front exhaust pipe is CLR125, fits perfectly.

Will get it running then take it apart for painting.

j'en suis moins sur, il n'a pas un moteur de XL sur sa machine , et il a du jouer du chalumeau pour refaire l'alignement.

It is a Moto-Roma CG125 copy, the CLR pipe fitted perfectly, no blow torch

Just cut a couple of cm's off where it joins the silencer.
